Guardian Angel

In the reflection there I see,

Someone with the same face as me

With a smile that’s so strange, yet so familiar

They carried wounded hearts waiting to be free.

“Who are you?” I asked.

I move closer to the mirror longing for an answer.

A different one this time, one that could maybe ease my guilt

The strange guilt that followed me for as long as I can remember.

But I knew, I knew deep in my heart

They carried the broken pieces of my heart

Amended and make it stronger

I knew who they were, and what we’d done.

The Lost Wolf

There was an angel, the most beautiful one among the rest

Brave, kind, and generous he was, he fell into the trap of the jealous one

With wounds yet to heal, its Creator turns its back on him

Ah, the all-mighty Creator, was a perfection obsessor

With scars so deep he cried, a silent scream of rage.

There was an angel, who was lost in the world

The one with the purest heart, the most beautiful I’ve ever seen

Now carries the form of a beast

To deceive the eyes of the evil heart

Once in a while you’ll hear, a tale to tell for the kid

The tale of a fallen angel, the most wondrous one I've ever seen

The tale of a lost wolf, once an angel who was now unseen.
